Veritas & Miracles not on again tonight (3/24)..... (1 Viewer)

Just to let everyone know. Both Veritas and Miracles will not be on tonight. At 8pm their will be a ABC news program and then 2 hours of the Practice.

Hopefully, they are doing this to try to save the shows. ;)

What happened to ABC promoting the shows during the Oscars and determining their fate based on performance tonight?

Looks like they're deciding to cut their losses - apparently they've decided the two shows aren't part of their future plans and are saving them for summer burn-off.

Rotten luck, that - they got thrown into the February sweeps fire right away, and then had to deal with unpredictable pre-emptions. Looks like Plan B is to see if they can at least salvage The Practice.

That's just speculation, of course, but alternate theories are welcome.

According to TV Guide, "Miracles" is still on the schedule for the next two weeks, but "Veritas" has been pulled.

Did they flip a coin, or did "Miracles" pull significantly better numbers?

Actually, I think Miracles pulls lower ratings, but it's also produced by a corporate sibling (Touchstone Television), which gets it some slack, and has a more vocal fan base/critical support, which might be able to get it some word-of-mouth support.
