Hello,
How are speakers magnetically shielded? Are they just shielded on the sides or on the back also?

When shielded speakers are placed next to a tv, does the front of the speaker have to be even with the front of the tv? If not, how far back can the front of the speaker be from front of the tv? I guess I'm wondering does the magnetic field go straight out the front of the speaker or does is "fan" out?

Thanks,
BrianGC

actually a video shielded speaker is a speaker with a cover over the magnet to keep the magnetic frequencies away from a tv or monitor. So a shielded speaker is actually shielded from top, bottom, front and back.

Ok, I got ya. I would have thought it impossible to keep the magnetic field from coming out the front of the speaker.

Thanks,
