Directors The Foreign Film Draft (1 Viewer)

Ever since I saw the masterful IRREVERSIBLE almost two weeks ago, I have been thinking about doing this draft, and I am now getting around to starting it. We will have 8 participants, and will go 1-8, 8-1 like the other drafts do with a 12 hour time limit to make a pick. I'm in, so we need 7 more people.

Cary, I'll allow films from any country other than Canada, which I just don't fill right including.

Well, there are a number of foreign films I love, but I'm nowhere near the buff others are. If you go to 16 I fear I'd run out (not that I don't have a lot of favorite foreign films, but it's not like no one is going to steal them.

Why not stick with 8, which would go pretty quickly, then do another one. Or do two at one time? One thing about the Drafts, it gets really tedious the more people there are involved.

(Edit: The people aren't tedious of course. The waiting, the going is tedious.)

A question please? Say you keep a draft to 8 participants. When actual voting starts, do you count outside votes? or just the 8 draft participants. I'm really lame at these tourneys.

I'm sure many would like to observe from the outside. I too think 8 "drafters" is plenty in this category, I just wish I had made it in.

If you do go 16. please count me in. It seems a bit excessive though.
