We're drafting movies, bands, and dream guys/gals, so why not authors?
This draft will go 10 rounds, and like the other drafts will follow an alternating 1-16, 16-1 order. Fiction, non-fiction, comic book/strip writers, poets, playwrights, journalists... any type of writer is fair game. If you want to draft the guy who writes all those intensely irritating "Can you hear me now?" commercials, go right ahead.
However, I've decided that screenwriters and songwriters/lyricists are not allowed. I think it would make it too close to the movie and music drafts, and open up the field too wide. If they have a published body of work separate from their movie/music career, then they're okay. TV writers are okay.
