I bought this bargain sub about four years ago. It is a 12 inch sub with a 250watt amplifier. It worked and sounded great for a couple of months until the amplifier failed. This was an extremely common phenomenom for the owners of these subs. I got it repaired, under warranty, and it worked great for another two years. The amp is gone again and it is no longer under warranty. I would like to replace the amp myself. I am fairly handy with a screwdriver and a chainsaw. What amplifiers are available for me to use to replace the current one? I see that Parts Express regularly advertises some inexpensive 250watt sub amps on their website. Has anyone else replaced theirs? Thanks in advance!
