I have just about completed my 5.1 setup with the exception of the rear speakers. I currently am using a sony str-de845 receiver, wharfedale diamond 8.2s for the front, diamond center channel, with 12 gauge wire. I want to purchase diamond rears but i simply can't afford to. I am asking your advice on a good set of bookshelf speakers to use for the rear, $150 or less. So far the only ones i have found that seem to somewhat meet the quality are the dls bookshelf speakers at partexpress for $140.
