To book a calibration go to www.lionav.com and use the "book a calibration form", then use the paypal link to send the required $50 travel fee. If you are in most parts of New England the travel fee will be deducted from the cost of the calibration.

My home # is 207 778 5417. My cell # is 201 232 3380. Feel free to call to discuss any calibration related issues.

I am leaving on a 3 week tour tomorrow so I will have limited email availability.

Hi Gregg,
Is there any chance you will be coming through Houston, Texas?

Hello Gregg,

I'm interested (New Jersey) as well but unfortunately I'm waiting for a Sony Authorized Repair Tech to fix my flicker problem on my KP-57WV700. He's coming tomorrow, so I have to wait and see what the outcome is (i.e.: parts on backorder, butcher job requiring a replacement set or parts replaced but left with poor geometry and convergence, etc..).

Perhaps I'm being too pesimistic but from what I've read, it's rare to get a good tech that will not only replace the parts but tweak it back to at least it's day 1 condition.

If I can't book you for your March leg of the tour then perhaps sometime in July.

Greg,

I am moving on March 15 to a new house and I assume I'll have to re-calibrate everything after moving my Toshiba 52 inch RPTV. Two questions:

Before I have the movers move it, any adjustments I need to do to it? Any precautions, other than making sure the movers are insured. lol

and 2, I most likely can't have you do my ISF in March (short of funds) but I want it done eventually. When do you think you might be getting back around to the Southern States (I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC)?

Thanks,

Joe

Greg, sorry I didn't call you a month or so ago... time flies...

I'm still interested--are you going through NC at all? I can't drum up any business here in Wilmington, so I'm willing to pay an extra trip charge--unless you enjoy it too much here in our beautiful port city... Posted Image

I'll try to give you a call anyway...

Thanks

Gregg, quick question: Is it worth calibrating a 4:3 set? I have a Toshiba 53H71 and have been wondering whether to do it or not.

I also have the opportunity to sell it to someone for $1500 and then buy a 57H82 from OneCall for like $1900 shipped but I watch a lot of cable tv and don't know if I'll like the stretch modes.

Ed, that is purely your call. The question is what is it worth to you to watch a color corrected image?

Then the additional question of 4x3 vs 16x9.

Best of luck, (I know its a delemma).
