Is it just a model replacement with all specs remaining exactly the same or are there any changes?

cosmetic or driver etc??

thanks for the responses.. i checked out the archives but didn't find a discussion on the subject.

OK, so I'm by no means an authority on the subject, but as I understand it the only change is in the speaker ports. They were previously oval to reduce port noise, but then I think it was Bose that brought a lawsuit saying they had patented the oval shaped port, so they switched to a circular shaped port for the series II.

I'm not sure if there were any other changes, that's the only one I'm aware of.
