Hi all,

I had a question concerning the calibration of a samsung hdtv using the S&V HTT. With the samsung, you can only adjust the contrast, brightness etc... under the custom mode, so basically you can only save one setting at a time. So, should you just calibrate the tv to look best when viewing dvd's through the component input? Is that calibration also going to provide the best picture when watching standard cable tv? If not, what are the alternatives?

Thanks for any help!

Well I have the TMX3098WHF. And I used VE and went in to the Service Menu to make some Adjustments. I set up Custom mode using VE in 480p via componet. And my DSS via S-video looks wonderful!!!!! So I use Custom for everything!!! Can't wait to get the TS-160!!!!Posted Image
