I own a GE DVD Player. Yes I know I need to get a different brand, but this all I can afford right now and my wife won't let me get a new one right now. Recently, when I go to play movie...the color contrast seems to give out. I thought maybe at first it was my movie...so I tried a different one. The Same thing happened. Even when I took out the movie, the screen saver did the same thing. It makes the picture look smeary and like a photo negative. I do not have the player hooked to a VCR, so I know this has nothing to do with it. Every once in a while it will get better. Then a little while later, the reds in the picture will start to go funny...and begin to bleed over to everything. This sounds like a contrast problem..but I don't know!! Please..someone help me!!
