Dangerous post, Howard. Dangerous indeed. And tricky.
And a bit careless as well.

Dr. , you had to go and say something didn't you? Now look at what you have done. That note was about as cryptic as a 40 ft. neon sign. Your a regular Hitchcock. You had me guessing all the way to the end.

As Cees notes, there is danger in this thread.

Are all you guys really that far out of the loop?

Early last year (2001), Dr. Howard, mistakenly believing his posts signaled the death knell for any active thread, started a thread lamenting his perceived mortal effects on any thread in which he attempted to participate.

The result was a phenomenon in After Hours that many thought would never die. Like kudzu weeds in the American South, it grew and grew, requiring occasional pruning by our own Cees Alons.

What killed the good Dr. Howard's seemingly unkillable thread turned up in an unexpected place. It was started by one of the original-generation "thread killers." And I'm not telling anybody where this thread is. Hell, it may not even exist, and I may have been lying to you all along.

Took me a while to catch on. (Thanks, Mr. Briggs.) I had been following that thread for a good time last spring. Yeah, it was a time waster as is "Testy", but it was amusing!
