Z2, is there a way to see how mamy hours on the lamp ? (1 Viewer)

I own a Sanyo PLV-Z2 for about a year now and I'm wondering if there is an easy way to know the actual bulb hours count ?

I've checked on the onwer's guide and didn't found anything except how to reset the counter, which is not what I want to do.

Just hold down the on/off button for 15 or 20 seconds and it should display hours in normal and high lamp mode. You have to push the button twice to get it to shut off on my Z2. If it shuts off with one push there is a setting in the menu for shutdown confirmation that need to be set. Hope this helps.

I tried it and it works. My lamp has 429 hrs (179 in normal mode and 250 in high lamp mode). I use the high lamp mode for HDTV and DVD watching and the normal mode for regular SD TV.

So, thanks again for the tip.

You probably already know it but it also works using the power button on the remote control.
