Ill add my name to the list for Bring It On.

Clueless: Alicia's character is just cute and funny. Yeah she is superficial but she is also very basic. I also once dated a girl who looked like Alicia Silverstone, and her name was Alicia.

Blast From the Past: Again a cute movie also with Alicia Silverstone in it. I also though it was funny as hell to see Christopher Walken play a father.

George of the Jungle: Good movie to take you 5 year old cousin to while you drool over Leslie Mann.

Cruel Intentions: You mean to tell me there is more to that movie than Reese Witherspoon and her little blue sweater?

Bedazzled: Man I love looking at Elizabeth Hurley in this movie!!

Armageddon: Owen Wilson was classic. For some reason, I really cared about the characters by the end.

Deep Impact: Just something about 100+ foot tidle waves moving at high speeds gets my blood pumping.

Scary Movie: Just pure stupid fun.

ID4: I'm a pretty big fan of Will Smith. As someone said earlier about Will Ferrel, he's a comic genius.

Pitch Black: Vin Diesel is the next Arnold, except he can act. Thought this film was underrated quite a bit.

Howard the Duck: I'm not sure why I like this movie...but I do!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
My God, its not even on par with the Disney stuff of its era, but I love it. Wish I still had my miniature Chitty car.

Damn, when I spotted this thread I expected to be the first to list The Black Hole.... how bad is it?
htf_images_smilies_smiley_jawdrop.gif
'ingly bad, and hilarious for it!
Anybody else have fond memories of a made-for-TV flick from 20-odd years ago, Goliath Awaits? Improbable in the extreme, cheesy, yet fascinating...
Also, The Last Dinosaur, Force 10 From Navarone[/b], Midway, and the Stepford Wives flicks.
Certainly, the worse-for-wear Bond flicks merit their own mention. (Dr. No, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, Live & Let Die, Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, Octopussy, A View To A Kill, The Living Daylights, and License To Kill really aren't good, or at least consistently so, although all have their moments. I left out The Man With the Golden Gun because even I don't derive any pleasure, guilty or otherwise, from that one.
And if James Woods is in it, chances are decent it's a guilty pleasure: Cop, Cat's Eye, The Hard Way, True Believer, Bestseller, The Specialist(3X the guilt because of the Sly Stallone and Sharon Stone factors!), [/b]John Carpenter's Vampires,[/b], etc.
One more category is worth mention -- what I'd have to call '80's-'90's high-gloss sleaze -- AKA erotic thrillers and pretentious, pseudo-art-house soft-core: 9 1/2 Weeks, Basic Instinct, The Hot Spot, Sliver, Damage and their ilk.
I also liked the USA network's in-house flicks Buried Alive and Buried Alive II. I hang my head in shame....
And I watched Pretty In Pink again when it ran on cable recently. It's as if I was hoping Molly Ringwald would come to her senses and fall in love with Jon Cryer's "Duckie" and ditch the preppie, or something. Yikes.

let's see...
for the "chick" ;) factor:
Bedazzled
Cruel Intentions
Wild things
for silliness:
Space Truckers
1941 - "I'm a bug!" need I say more?
Killer Klowns from Outer Space - death, destruction and clowns
UHF
Just because:
Maximum Overdrive - Great soundtrack with bad acting
The Monster Squad - I loved it as a kid, still do as a matter of fact
Battle Beyond the Stars
Evolution
Tremors (all 3) - the third one isn't my favorie, but I enjoy it anyway
Revenge of the Nerds - Hey, I'm a nerd. Need I say more?
--ditto
Anti Trust - see Revenge of the nerds above
I'm sure there are more, but that's probably enough for now.

Starship Troopers is my most watched DVD hands down, I have a helmet used in production, the movie posters (including all 7 U.K. subway posters), I can't explain it.
Stargate just love the movie, and the concept.
The Fast and the Furious , really can't explain it.
Event Horizon creeps me out, plus I love ghost ship stories.
Pitch Black popcorn, popcorn, and more popcorn. :D

I can't believe no one has mentioned Strange Brew yet. One of the funniest movies ever produced. If your drunk and wasted all the time that is. Not really. It's just really, really bad Canadian humor.

Also, I was glad to see Ice Pirates mentioned , I love both of these movies. A few years back, whenever we had a party, these two movies always seemed to get played and everyone laughed there asses off.

The black pimp robot scene in Ice Pirates still puts me on the floor.

Also,
Them
The Thing, original
The Burbs
Volunteers, saw it today

And the list goes on.

My brother gave me Killer Clowns from Outer Space about three months ago. I guess I'll have to go watch it now because of you guys.

Of course, I also rented Josie and the Pussycats last week because of comments on here about it, and that was... not so good.

Too bad there were no MacGuyver or A-team movies.

Cruel Intentions (both one and two). Those fit well into this thread because I think I'm the only person who likes the sequel more than the first.

I s'pose Shaolin Soccer would fit in well here, especially since I usually watch it without subtitles.

Howard The Duck is a guilty pleasure up until the 3rd act, and then it just lost it. But I did enjoy the whole duckiness and the reparte between Howard and Leah Thompson's character.

Any Mannequin fans out there? It's silly but very enjoyable and charming. And I love the Starship song at the end.

Another movie starring Andrew McCarthy I like is Weekend at Bernie's. I saw it twice years ago, and I thought it was funny both times.

Can't Buy Me Love is one of several 80's teen movies I like. Amanda Peterson elevates it above most other teen movies.

Those are the only ones I can think of right now that haven't been mentioned already.

I never feel guilty about liking any film. If I like a film, I'm not afraid to share that info with anybody. I'm so good at arguing why a film is good that people usually just give in. However, that doesn't stop me from berating people on some of their movie choices. :D
Just a few of my hundreds of "guilty" pleasures:
One Night at McCool's - Absolutely trashed by critics when it was released. I thought it was a great little comedy, using a bit of the Rashomon structure, with a damn funny performance from Michael Douglas. Plus it's got drop-dead-sexy Liv Tyler washing a car in a teeny little dress. My only complaint is the god awful score.
Lair of the White Worm - Ken Russel in all his trippyness takes on a Bram Stoker vampire tale. Highly underrated!
Army of Darkness - One of the ultimate fanboy movies that nobody in the general public gets. Sam Raimi's over-the-top filmmaking, mixed with Bruce Campbell's comic genius, finished off with the greatest collection of one-liners ever. "Come get some!"
Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai - Scientest - surgeon - adventurer - rock star, Buckaroo battles aliens from the 8th dimension to save the world. Wonderful performances abound.
Bubble Boy - Revels in it's un-PCness. A film that's not afraid to make fun of anything or anybody, and turns out pretty damn funny.
Bachelor Party - Tom Hanks at his most hilarious. Nearly every line in this film is quotable.
There's Nothing Out There - Made by a 20 year old for $25,000 this movie is an incredible independent film achievement. A wonderfully made horror/comedy that NOBODY has seen. Had a horror-film-referencing character 5 years before Scream's Randy.

The Burbs said:
I don't think any of us want to admit that (and mention that we enjoyed it, like myself). I also don't think any of us admitted we also saw the awful sequel too (like myself). :)
