I have a Dual 1229Q that I bought in 1974. It still has a cartridge for quadraphonic. I've got to find something else.

I took the player into a repair shop for a little re-conditioning and the guy said it was still a reference type turn table.

I currently have P3/2000 with Koetsu Black cart., cardas cable and Heavyweight. Preamp is EAR864. I rarely listen to CD's, can't remember the last CD I played. Listening to a good vinyl playback system is heaven!

For the records, the Nitty Gritty 1.5FI.

If you are going to jump into vinyl, don't forget to clean the records...the single biggest improvement in sound, IMHO
