XBOX360 DVD player? (1 Viewer)

I wonder how good the image quality of the XB360's DVD player will be compares to $200-300 standalone DVD players.

I've had a Panasonic RP56 for 3-4 years now, I'd hope that the chipset in the 360 would be of higher quality given the time passed.

I guess this would be more geared to HTPC as many people use ATI cards for their DVD decoders...I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I've been curious about this too...the original X-Box suffers from the chroma bug, and I'm hoping it's successor doesn't share the same fate.
