Well, with all the controversy around the XBox One, it seems to be selling quickly for pre-order sales.

The US arm of Amazon has already sold out of its Xbox One pre-order stock, some five months before the console is set to go on sale.

This suggests that the next-gen console could be in hot demand and short supply when it hits retailers this November,

All sold out preorders. The limited amount of inventory at launch will always result in pre-orders to fans. But what happens after that first wave? And what happens when the conventional wisdom is, "XBOne is too expensive and locked down, get a PS4". Because that's exactly what I'm telling everyone.
