Xbox 360 resolution setting question (1 Viewer)

I bought an Elite and am using the HDMI connection. I use a Samsung 720p/1080i DLP. What resolution should I set my 360 to? 720 or 1080i?

Agreed. 720p will look better since all 720 lines are displayed at once as opposed to 1080, although it is a higher number of lines, will only show 540 lines each scan.
