That's the way the chips stacks show. The prize pool in this tourney is $7,207,108. First place gets 1.5 million.
I felt sorry for Phil last night. Had pocket pairs twice 3-handed and ran into bigger pairs each time.
Next Week WPT Championship.
The final table looks like this:
Phil Ivey (Now 6th time at final table) Paul Maxfield Hasan Habib (2nd WPT Championship Season II) Tuan Le (Winner at Foxwoods season III) John Phan (2 time World Poker Open bracelets) Rob Hollink
I just recently got into watching/playing Hold'em, and I can't believe no one has mentioned the Championship yet. That was 3 hours of pure unbelievability and excitement. Congrats to Tuan Le
Both he and Paul
had amazing luck on the river.
Finally watched the 3-hour season finale and that had to be excruciating to the final 4 players with all the miracles at the river which provided some grand swings in chips, and just crushed dreams along the way.
Anyhow, a great way to end the season. Goodbye Shana Hiatt! We'll be missing you.
