Need input on a basic yet I hope time saving question. I would like to add two speakers to an adjoining room from my basement h/t set up. I'm just running cable connected to the b side of my Sony ES reciever. The run is 35-40 feet thru my drop ceiling into this other room 25x20. My question is can I get by using (1) 4 conductor CL 3 rated cable as oppose to (2) separate 14 guage run ? I'm not using a volume control for the second room. I just wanted the option to hear music from my main set up to the other room. The second room will be music only and not video etc. I didn't want to use zone 2 even though my reciever can handle it. Thanks.

Yes, a 4-conductor cable will work fine. It will be easier to run, too.
