Thanks for the tip, that will be a very useful feature for me! I will definitely check out Bridge on the River Kwai. I'm at 6.5 feet away watching a 65" TV, so I'm just within the range of appreciating 4K. I'm VERY curious to see how much improvement I'll be able to see and which movies will be worth the upgrade.

Please let us know. By all accounts Lawrence is a sizable upgrade, it will be interesting to hear how some other older movies fare.

That picture is incomplete - there are obviously at least another five of those around the room as everybody knows that his life was in 6 track. The window & blinds are set close to the correct aspect ratio.

A 41"x81" (1/2" thick) cardboard panel from an eighties Harley Davidson motorcycle crate. Lots of shrink wrap, 4 home made wooden support blocks, 4 nails, and a prayer.

"That means no ProRes". How would you view the content in native format? Print it to film? :) Are there displays or projectors within the industry allowing full resolution?

It's too bad about Kodak and look how long they have been in the movie business. I guess everything now is digital and streaming.
