Just bought 24 as a blind buy amid protest from the wife (ok mild ones, more like skepticism). Well she made me stay up way past our betime because she wanted to watch the second episode... then the third... Now I was protesting. I wanted to watch them slowly.. maybe even one a week to get the "feel" of the original airings, you know prolong the suspense.

Well it's a good thing there are only 4 episodes per disk because having to get up and change the disk is all that stopped her from going through the whole thing!

Oh yeah and I just got (finally) the family guy Vol 1.

can't wait.

Why not? Most anime has been on television first, right? If I were to buy say... the first season of Derrick. Or maybe FC De Kampioenen, series that have been great hits in Germany and Belgium respectivly, they wouldn't count?
