It was also my first purchase from Amazon, I was going to buy the Battlestar Galactica: Complete Series with Cylon head instead but didn't want to spend almost $100 on my first purchase from them.

It has been A while but I believe
It was STAR TREK: The NEXT GENERATION Season 1
I us to Go around to the Stores looking for them when they where
released every 2 months. I did the same with DS9, Voyager and Enterprise.
That was before I discovered Amazon.com who's DVD prices seam to be cheaper now days than Best Buy and Circuit City.
Those Sets use to be around $100 each back then an Also included A Free Bonus desk for each season A well.
I have Every Bonus disk for every Series and Season Of Trek Even the TOS Desks.
I Do have The Original TOS Volumes as well.
