I'm looking for a scary movie that our family can enjoy on Halloween night.
I'm not too familiar with older "horror" films, like the ones in the Universal Monster collection, so I'm hoping someone can recommend one that has some good suspense, but won't scare the doodles out of my 5 year old. I'm thinking there must be dozens of good films made from the '30's-60's that fill the bill, but I don't want to blunder into one that is too scary, or too cheesy/ boring.
