I had to buy a 3DO for Return Fire. I will be doing this again early next year after I get my L500U, though I may go with a Gamecube/F-Zero before that...

I bought a Sega Dreamcast for Resident Evil: Code Veronica, and I regret it.

The game was decent, but I hated the controller and the mostly arcade-style games for the system.

Atari 2600 - at that time, the fact that you could play any game at home was enough to make you want to buy the system!

Colecovision - Donkey Kong Jr.

NES - Super Mario Bros.

Genesis - Altered Beasts

Super NES - Super Mario World

Gameboy - Tetris

3D0 - Crash 'n Burn

Playstation - Warhawk

Saturn - Virtua Cop

Nintendo 65 - Mario 64

Dreamcast - House of the Dead 2

Playstation 2 - SSX

Gamecube - Rogue Leader 2

Xbox - Halo

I don't regret buying any of the consoles (even the $499 3DO!). It's just the price you have to pay to play!

Mario 64 - Nintendo 64
Soul Calibur - DreamCast
SSX - PS2
Halo - XBox
GameCube I bought just because of the price drop to $150 a while ago.

Was never allowed a tvgame system growing up so first I bought a Microvision, liked the paddle and ball game Breakout

-Gameboy(tetris,alleyway,marioland,Rev of the Gator)
-Atari Lynx(1st colour screen with flip screen)
-Vectrex(cause of neat idea) traded Lynx for it
-GB Pocket(smaller size and better to see)
-NEC Turboexpress( Bonk's and Pinball)
-GB Colour(played games in colour) pokemon pinball.
-Sega Nomad(wow plays Genesis games)
-Advance cause backwards compatibility, and new software idea.
-Sp(smaller and 1st system backlit and didn't need tons of batteries)
