I’ve learned that you can’t be sure if your life is reality or a computer simulation.

The only way to know for sure is if you experience deja vu.

I have learned:

The easiest way to get sex is to go to AdultFriendFinder, e-mail a lady, and she'll want to have sex with you within 5 minutes of reading the e-mail. (yeah, RIGHT!)

My 2.4 GHz computer is a POS that goes right back to the desktop immediately after 10 minutes of playing Doom 3.

Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will be released on May 15th, 2005.

Al Gore did not invent the internet.

People are cheapasses that only want the $299.99 AOL PC and nothing else. Actually, I learned that through my job (Sales), but AOL *IS* technically the internet according to some misinformed consumers.

You can make billions by selling notes.

You can make billions by sending your personal information to South Africa and donating $2,034.98 to their cause.

There is a megaton of porn out there, actually comprising 58.4% of the internet.

...and the number one thing I have learned about the internet: that you cannot find the mysterious use behind the little packets we all know and love: SILICA!!

While there is a lot of content out there on the 'net that is pretty much useless and trivial, I have to admit that when I was in college, I did a lot of my research for class papers on the Internet and hardly ever went to the library. Being an IT professional today and using the web extensively at work, I rarely ever come home and get on the Internet and surf. The only exception is to get my work e-mail over the web and............coming here to this site because this is my primary hobby.

In closing I learned a lot while I was in college doing research on the 'net.

Two things:

1. Ted Lee is a cool cat.

2. The art of writing a letter is dying. (Learned from e-mail.)

I have learned:

Dont believe everything you hear. Many people just lie. Though I knew this before the internet.

Some people are absolute suckers who truly believe everything they hear.

Everyone seems to be super models online. I swear 9 times out of 10, the person (male or female) will claim to be extremely good looking. I would say it's true only 1 or 2 times out of 10.

Get protection. Too many porn popups.

There is much fun to be had online if you go to the right places.

Very good place for some advice on just about everything. Though you sometimes get confused on if it's true or not.

Stay away from weirdos. You are not only dealing with a few pedophiles, killers, perverts, etc. You are now dealing with thousands upon thousands. I know. You should see some of the strange emails I have received.

Basically, the internet can be a very fun place. It can also be a dark place if you arent careful and go down the dark alley. Just like everything else I guess.

I've also learned that Ted is really popular, and I wish I was as popular as him...

quote:- You can find pretty much anything and everything about Star Trek and Star Wars online.

Not to mention that you can always find Star Trek fans talking about how immature Star Wars fans are, and Star Wars fans talking about what losers Star Trek fans are.

(I'm a fan of both, so I just argue with myself.)

I think this is another example of how you can't believe everything you read on the internet.

I have learned that it is a lot more fun to complain than to give praise on the internet, mainly because its easier to find other people that are complaining about the same thing.

I've learned a lot about how businesses function. I've learned a lot of history about some of my favorite sports teams I might not have known otherwise.

I've learned more than I ever will need to know about silica.

I learned that Tony Whalen can kick himself in the crotch.

I've learned that contrary to what I might have thought previously Star Wars is not just a movie, but a way of life.
