Is freeview HD broadcast in 1080i or 720p or both? I have the option for either, but I am wondering if I choose 720p, it will be a scaled down version of a larger interlaced signal, or if I choose 1080i it will be an upscaled version of a lower resolution (720p). My main question that comes from this, is if I choose the interlaced 1080 signal assuming it is broadcast that way, what does my TV do it, and what is the outcome, eg. is it a deinterlaced 540p image, or are Samsung smarter than that. So which should I choose? Thanks
