That wasn't me Dennis, and that's a famously sick joke.

Max, I think Dopaphobia from a few posts back might apply?Nah. There are plenty of stupid people who don't take drugs or get drunk. Why should they? They are already stupid.
I can understand enclosed spaces, but how does someone have a fear of wide open spaces? Why would someone consider that scary? My understanding of it, is that it comes from an instinctual response to being open to attack (no place to hide, no place to defend yourself, no place to protect yourself from falling objects, etc).
A Walloon is a French-speaking person of Celtic descent inhabiting southern or southeast Belgium, or adjacent regions of France.Brian, at least now we understand why there's a phobia of it, brrr!
Probeophobia - "Um, Doctor, why are you putting on that rubber glove?"
Rentanotherpornophobia - "You`re busy Saturday? Well, how about next weekend then?"
Shrinkaphobia - "Hey, this is a nude beach. I ain`t getting in that cold water!"
Smallpenisphobia - "Honey, I bought a Corvette!"
I can understand enclosed spaces, but how does someone have a fear of wide open spaces? Why would someone consider that scary? When I was a kid, I wasn't scared of wide open spaces exactly, but I was afraid of large/open enclosures. For example, an empty airplane hangar would freak me out. I guess it was the shear size that would scare me. The fact that that it was open made it seem more menacing because you could see every bit of it in one shot. It was this feeling of smallness in comparison that would creep me out.
They don't freak me out as much now, but when I go to concerts (or hockey games) at these giant arenas like MSG, I still get chills looking at the inside of them. The massive seating, the high roof, the shear size of the building, etc.
As David stated, I guess the fear stems from feeling insecure. The place just seems too big to provide adequate shelter and comfort. I feel safer in a small/cozy room.
Probeophobia - "Um, Doctor, why are you putting on that rubber glove?"That is not funny.
Ceesphobia - fear of pruning shears
