Ever since Bloom County, Calvin & Hobbes and The Far Side stopped running, I've stopped reading strips, as the majority of them today are crap (The Boondocks is the only decent strip out there).

Foxtrot.

I read a while back that a new Opus strip was coming out, but I've never seen it. Anyone know anything about it?

Opus is Berke Breathed's new Sunday-only strip that started in January. It's usually fantastic in the way the old Bloom County was. I think he's definitely found his groove again and I look forward to reading it first thing every Sunday morning.

Online:
Get Fuzzy!

Offline:
Foxtrot (My current fave)
Zits
Baby Blues
Cathy
Bizarro
Non Sequitur
Dilbert (Hardly Ever Funny)
Garfield (Never Funny, But Right Above Dilbert)
Beetle Bailey
Hi & Lois
Broomhilda
Doonesbury
Drabble
Mother Goose & Grimm

Strips I'm Petitioning to Be Removed From My Newspaper:
Family Circus (I hate this strip with the white-hot fury of a thousand supernovae)
Dennis the Menace
Soap strips

My newspaper hasn't changed their comics page in years... not since they added Zits and Baby Blues. I used to read Over the Hedge before it became really political.

Prince Valiant (I've read this ever since I could read)

Dilbert

Peanuts

So many great strips have gone by the wayside, but I especially miss Pogo, The Far Side and Calvin and Hobbes.

Calvin and Hobbes should be one of the funniest comic strips I've ever read. I don't even know if they print that anymore in the paper.

CTRL+ALT+DEL is my favorite comic, on- or off-line. It's mainly geared for video gamers / computer users / college humor, but since that pretty much describes me, I find it hilarious. :emoji_thumbsup:

They don't but the San Francisco Comic Art Museum had a great exhibit a while ago of the original drawings. Everyone was rolling on the ground in laughter.
BTW if you come to San Francisco Blow off Fishermans Wharf and go here
