Judging by the varying ages of people on this forum i'm guessing some of you lucky people have seen some great gigs in your time. Please share your experiances.
Heres who i've seen-

My first gig - 1997 - The Prodigy/Foo Fighters

2000 - Sting (amazing live, cool as a cucumber)

2001 - Fun Loving crimnals (class band)
2002 - Bon Jovi (Hampden stadium, 60,000 people )
2002 - Issac Hayes ( I was in awe)
2003- Huey Lewis and the News (perhaps the greatest night of my life so far! )
2003- Whitesnake / Gary Moore ( )
2003- Deep Purple / Lynard Skynard (Rick Wakemens 10 minute keyboard solo was pure prog rock )
2003 - Tony Bennet (coolest night of my life, part of glasgow summer Jazz festival, after the gig took in some jamming at a jazz cafe till 4am in the morning, drunk plenty of Jack D that night! )

Jethro Tull(71) warm up band Roxy Music(changed my whole picture of music, I thought they blew Tull away and I had waited overnight at MSG for 7th row tickets to see JT)

The Who-'71,73,75 and never after Keith died.
Elvis Costello- both shows at his debut in the Bottom Line and I lost count how many times since then. My favorite.
Talking Heads CBGB's and Forest Hills(Stop Making Sense)
CBGB's- Blondie(Also when they were the Stilettos)Ramones,Police,Patti Smith,The Cure,Smithereens,Madness, English Beat,Specials. I could go on and on about that place
Pink Floyd-thrice- Animals, Wish You Were Here(MSG) and one of the few shows of the Wall in Nassau Colliseum in 1980.

I'm only 22 but I've seen a ton of shows in my time. The most memorable was a Bob Dylan/Black Crowes show a couple years ago. The venue somehow double booked that night, but both parties agreed to do a one night only deal. Seeing Dylan with my dad was just great.

The band I've seen the most times is DMB - 13 shows and counting (with two more next weekend). If you haven't seen them live, do so, they are outstanding.

Best festival I've been to was Bonnaroo last year - 3 days of pure jamband bliss. Also included the best set I've ever seen - moe. played from midnight to about 6 am and just killed it. Good times.

Shows I'm most looking forward to: a rumored tour of Dave Matthews, Trey Anastasio, and Tim Reynolds this winter, although seeing Simon & Garfunkel is going to be killer as well.

Matt, how was Slipknot? I hear that their live show is absolutely crazy. I really want to pick up their live DVD one of these days.

I have seen Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, and Dena Carter. I think it was quite a while ago.

I really want to see Spineshank, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Slipknot, The Offspring, Green Day, and Stone Sour.

Slipknot was pretty wacky. It was at the Pledge of allegiance tour a couple years back with System of a Down and a couple of weak openers (Mudvayne and Rammstein were supposed to be there, but backed out). The only time I've seen more active pits was at the Korn concert that I went to, but Slipknot was definitely nuts. After their set, a buddy and I walked around the outside of the venue and saw many, many downed people being worked on my medics. I thought I was in Bosnia for a second
