CHEECH AND CHONG'S 'NEXT MOVIE'

WILD AT HEART

LOST HIGHWAY

and a whole lot of non-anamorphic and/or non-special edition dvd's that are too many to list:

(Here's just a sample of some):

DAZED AND CONFUSED

GOODFELLAS

THE DOORS

CASINO

SCARFACE

CARLITO'S WAY

THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE

LETHAL WEAPON 4 (we need a dts directors cut to go with 1-3)

BLADE RUNNER

BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA

AIR FORCE ONE

PREDATOR

TRUE LIES

TITANIC

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

THE ABYSS

SLEEPERS

THE LOST BOYS

BATMAN

BEETLEJUICE

FLATLINERS

A TIME TO KILL

THE FLY(1986)

THE SHINING *

A CLOCKWORK ORANGE *

FULL METAL JACKET *

* there is a much heated debate on the full frame kubrick dvd's. i think they should release new 2-disc editions with the original-intended release and a newly created "matted" anamorphic version of these (like what sam raimi did for his special edition of the evil dead)

Battle Royale (an R1 release)

One title I would like to see is Flight Of The Intruder.
BTW, I have changed the title of this thread assuming that none of us would want to do time travel. :)

1. All 14 Rathbone/Bruce Holmes films (12 of which were restored by UCLA). These have been rumored to be released in 2003, but the longer we wait for official word, the more dubious I become.

2. The Fox Charlie Chan films that were restored by Fox over the last couple years, including "The Black Camel", the earliest extant Warner Oland Chan.

3. The Hal Roach L&H talkies. There is a German set available, but no R1. Artisan (ugh) is supposed to be releasing these over the summer, but no official word yet.

4. The Dead End Kids series. Bowery Boys would be appreciated (at least until Leo Gorcey left the series).

5. The under-appreciated Brass Brancroft series of the '30's starring Ronald Reagan. There were only 4 films or so and this could easily be a 2 disc set. These came from Warner Brothers.

6. From TV, season by season of "Perry Mason". I know that Columbia House is currently offering these as 2 per disc titles. They cost an arm and a leg though. Although it will never happen, it would nice to have someone release the half dozen or so Mason films from the '30's. Although not faithful to the character, they were very nice mysteries in their own right and have a great stable of character actors.

7. The remaining "Thin Man" films. They could be doubled up as 2-fers.

8. More Universal Classic Monsters. (Creature Black Lagoon sequels, Invisible Man Returns, House of Dracula, etc.)

9. Remaining American Hitchcocks (Lifeboat in particular)

10. The "Saint" and "Falcon" films starring George Sanders and Tom Conway.
