I am extremely faithful to my TV shows once I become a regular viewer (I generally decide within the first 3 or 4 eps if I'll watch or not). The only long-running show I gave up on (after about 5 seasons) was NYPD Blue because I just couldn't watch another tragedy befall Sipowitz. I also never join a show "in progress" -- if I didn't catch the first episode, I will not watch unless I can start from the beginning on DVD. (The only exception was "Law & Order", which I joined in the 3rd Season.)

So, I'm currently watching:

Boston Legal
Desperate Housewives
CSI
CSI: Miami
Joan of Arcadia
Law & Order
Law & Order: SVU
Will & Grace
Lost
SNL
Jack & Bobby

Limited series:

Manhunt
Long Way Round

When the season starts:

Alias
24

Right now I've been watching:

American Dreams
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Fear Factor
Everwood (Although I've skipped a few weeks as I didn't like the story lines)
Gilmore Girls
NCIS
Judging Amy
LOST
Smallville
Survivor
Joan of Arcadia
JAG
Also been watching the 7th season of Stargate SG-1 on DVD, about one a week.

LOST was the only new show that I even tried this year, and it's actually worked it's way up to 4th or 5th on my favorite list, too. (But that is a subject for another thread. LOL!)

South Park
ER (doubt I'll be watching it next year)

That's the extent of my TV watching other than Giants football every Sunday, and reruns of Seinfeld.

Waiting For:

My TV viewing is currently limited to the following:

Everybody Loves Raymond (Wife likes the show more than I do)
Two-and-a-half Men (Wife likes the show more than I do)

King of Queens (Wife likes the show more than I do)

Star Trek: Enterprise - Following the wrap up of the temporal cold war, this series is at last reaching its potential this year.

Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars Mini-Series - This thing was fantastic!! Better than Star Wars Episode I *and* II!!

College Football

I do the rest of my TV viewing on DVD!

This season, there's a lot of competing shows on a few nights, and then nothing on the rest. Here's my list, in no particular order:

Veronica Mars (which I didn't see until I started reading recaps on TWOP, and have now found and watched all episodes, it's that good!)
Scrubs
The O.C.
Arrested Development
life as we know it
Simpsons
Desperate Housewives
Lost
Smallville (always timeshifted because of Lost)
CSI (original recipe only)
Joan of Arcadia
Enterprise

As you may notice, two things have a strong influence on my decisions other than actual show quality: HD and TWOP recaps. Only two shows on my list ("Scrubs" and "Simpsons") don't air in HD (because UPN isn't digital in my area, I find other ways of watching it in HD that I can't mention here), thankfully I have HD for both OTA and cable. Those two plus "life..." and "Arrested Development" aren't recapped on TWOP.

Got it pretty lean and mean now; hard enough to keep up with that.

There are only two shows I make a point to watch:

Lost
Survivor

There are a few shows I will occasionally watch:

Jeopardy
CSI (original)
Various PBS shows and specials

And there a few shows I mostly "hear" since my wife watches them and I'm in the vicinity doing other things (reading, on the PC, etc.):

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Desperate Housewives
ER

I think we're down to Enterprise and NYPD Blue. That's it. Guess I won't be getting a DVR anytime soon.

Desperate Housewives
Arrested Deveopment
Scrubs
Manhunt
Smallville
Lost
South Park
The O.C.
CSI
Without a Trace
Enterprise

Alias and 24 in Jan.

So far this season I've been watching:

Sun.
Arrested Development
The occasional Simpsons ep

Mon.
Nothing. I usually watch PBS if I watch TV at all.

Tues.
Scrubs
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (the closest I come to watching "reality" programming.)

Wed.
LOST
Jack and Bobby -(I've only watched the last two eps but they were very interesting.)

Thurs.
The O.C. (just started watching this season)

Fri.
ST: Enterprise
Stargate: Atlantis (when new eps are shown)

Sat.
Nothing

Does anyone remember, back in the 70s when Sat. nights were the night to watch TV?

When I'm home I usually have the TV turned to Food Network or the History Channel or History International. I occasionally check my 30+ movie channels to see what's on, also, when I'm not watching the above shows.
