I am really sold on Superbit titles. Especially after watching the Superbit edition of Starship Troopers the other night. I know fall and winter are coming and there are some pretty big titles coming with it, I just want to know if some of these titles will be Superbit or future Superbit releases. Does anyone have a list of US Superbit titles? I am hoping that Bad Boys 2 and Charlies Angels 2 will be a couple of them.

Well, Lawrence of Arabia, Leon: The Professional, and Hook are going to be re-released in September as Superbit editions.

Typically new Superbit releases are announced when a batch is released. So, next month we should be hearing the 4th quarter releases. I'm hoping for Spider-Man, but I am betting it won't be released until the next movie comes out.

I have a feeling Godzilla will be in the next batch of SB releases. Hope I'm wrong. Tears of the Sun would be cool.

Here is my list of SUPERBITS that I think are NEEDED.
Last Action Hero
Glory
Karate Kid(hell..an OAR version would be a start)
Bridge on River Kwai

AND NOW FOR THE WANTED< NOT NEEDED REALLY
Cliffhanger(although the current one is nice)
Starman(would be kinda cool)
GO
Wild Things(yes...good idea)

And as for movies I think wont be superbit originally, but wish they would be
Bad Boys II(with Bays DTS fetish, maybe it will be)
SWAT

Chris, calm down about BluRay. Prerecorded material will not be out until 2005.

SuperBits I am looking forward to are
Spider-Man
Black Hawk Down
The Big Blue

Ghostbusters really does need a Superbit. The existing R1 transfer is incredibly soft, almost distractingly so.
