You were being sent to a deserted outpost that gets no tv signals. You allowed to take 5 shows on dvd with you. What would you take?

-Star Trek(TNG)
-Miami Vice (it's coming ;) )
-Babylon 5
-Twilight Zone (original series)
-CSI

I'm doing this based on shows that are already out.

Seinfeld
Freaks and Geeks
Alias
The Prisoner
Little House on the Prairie

If I did my list based on shows that may come out or that I wish were out it would look like this:

Seinfeld
Freaks and Geeks
Get Smart
Rosanne
The Wild Wild West

*I hope that your question meant we could bring every season of the shows*

Only 5?

There seems to be a consensus here already. Mine changes frequently, but if I had to choose right now I'd take:

- Star Trek: TNG
- The Simpsons (I could watch every episode repeatedly, and I have, and still not get bored)
- Magnum, P.I.
- Law & Order
- Seinfeld

It pained me, but I left off Buffy, League of Gentlemen, Spaced, Doctor Who and a few others. I guess if I was sent to a second outpost, or I could exchange 5 for another 5, I'd add those to the list too :)

1. The Twilight Zone (1959)
2. Seinfeld
3. Freaks & Geeks
4. The Simpsons
5. Family Business

Normally I wouldn't go with #5, but if I'm to be stranded on a desert isle, I will need something with breasts. Sorry.
