The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer:All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from theirprinted Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by eachchain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the websiteprice.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week inthe RoundUp.The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well asthose which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers(and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don'tcomplain! If there is a title not includedin the RoundUp that youwant to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough topost and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp.They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, sothere is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR localWal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still outof business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their pricesanyway).

Chuck Heston in a Sam Peckinpah film?
If the structural similarities to Apocalypse Now seem immediate to the eye, then Dundee is the equivalent to Robert Duvall's Kilgore, with no Willard or Kurtz to focus the narrative energy or provide opposed points of view. In this westernized 'Nam, fragging is always on everyone's mind, the Enemy is a ghost in the bush, and American intervention (on the heels of the French) is a generalized, steamrolling disaster

Thank the maker, no new release purchases for me this week!

For those near a Frys be sure to check out their circular in your newspaper (actually they come out on Friday so it would have been April 5ths paper. They have a TON of of Blu Rays for $3.99 and $5.99. My local Frys has started to put all of the ad sales stuff together on a series of front-facing, and properly labeled racks, making it much easier to find the sales stuff than in years past. Movies like Yes Man, Caddyshack, Hall Pass, and Dumb and Dumber were $3.99. Barry Lyndon, Lolita, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were $5.99.

Also some semi-new BDs are on sale, picked up Rust and Bone for $14.99, Project X for $9.99 and A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas for $12.99 (which is the lowest I've seen for the 3D version).

But check in-store, many more on sale titles than what I listed.

Weekly Roundup link in the "Deals" drop-down at the top of the page is still linking to last weeks WRU.

Nothing this week. What a boring week. Probably Boss S2 at some point, but I don't need it right away.

Costco has the Jurassic Park trilogy blu-ray set for $26.99 (it's priced higher but there's an instant rebate at the register for a limited time). They also have sets of Family Guy for $14.99 each.

I picked up Hello Dolly and Willow BR's for $12.99 each, and Family Guy V.10.
