The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

**BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL! Bobby is available in both OAR and MAR versions...get the correct one! Also, Sleeping Dogs Lie is listed twice in ALL my retailers and in some places is shown with two different covers. I cannot confirm this, but I believe this title MAY also come in OAR and MAR versions.

--Circuit City is offering an EXCLUSIVE FREE PHANTASM POSTER with the purchase of phantasm on DVD. The poster resembles the DVD cover.

--Circuit City also has a FREE COMEDY CENTRAL DVD SAMPLER available with the purchase of ANY Comedy Central DVD. Sampler contains five episodes. In the ad, CC shows season sets for Reno: 911!, Chappelle’s Show, Mind of Mencia and South Park.

--Circuit City Odds and Ends: Circuit City has long lists of titles on sale 2/$30. There are a number of outstanding titles in this sale—including Big Lebowski CE, Unbreakable (Vista Series), Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid CE. CC also has a great list of $9.99 DVDs (which includes: Apocalypse Now: Complete Dossier, Reds SE, Titanic CE, and Beverly Hills Cop: The Complete Line-Up.

--Target is a mystery this week. As noted above, there is no Target flyer this weekend.

Just got the Phantasm DVD w/ poster at CC. The poster is INSIDE the DVD case (folded, obviously). It measures 14.5" x 18.5", and looks just like the picture in the ad. BTW, they only had ONE copy of this on the shelf! I picked up Phantasm 3, also.

So when is Phantasm 2 going to come out in R1?

Also, Spiderman 2.1 is out at Walmart with a bonus disc "the Villians of Spiderman 3" (13 minutes long). The bonus disc is in a keepcase packaged side-by-side with the movie. They had it for $12.88. I am such a sucker for Spiderman (triple dip on this movie alone )

Spiderman 3 will come out later this Spring. That means it will probably be out on DVD this Xmas (Black Friday, Anyone?)

I SELDOM see a Movie in the Theatre anymore. Why should I Shell out $ 15.00 to see it in the Theatre when I can wait 4 months and buy The DVD along with a Case of Popcorn and a Coke for the same amount of money, Watch the Movie and KEEP IT TO WATCH AGAIN AS I PLEASE!!!
