"Pinocchio" BD and "Howard the Duck" for me. I haven't seen the latter since it was in theaters. The other folks who saw it theatrically -- George, Jason, Susan, Marie, Lamar, and Jaimie -- may or may not purchase copies as well.

For those in the Northeastern US, I believe the Price Chopper supermarket chain has Transporter 3 for $14.95 this week (with their AdvantEdge Card).

The circular says "$5 OFF with Card (regular retail $19.95)."

I can't get to my store until tomorrow to check it out in person.

Target is also carrying both Let the Right One In (yeah! Netflix shipped it today!) and Synecdoche, New York for $19.99 each.

Amazon deal on Pinocchio & Sleeping Beauty BDs!

A poster over at SlickDeals is reporting that if you buy BOTH the Blu-ray releases of Pinocchio & Sleeping Beauty @ amazon.com they'll take $10 off EACH TITLE...dropping the total price by $20!

Here's a capture of his order page:

It's being reported in another thread that the above amazon deal is now dead...

Has anyone been to Toys 'R Us and gotten the $21.99 price on the Pinocchio BD?

^ My "local" TRU is much too far away for me, so I'm price matching tomorrow at BB right across the street.

Same here, she rang up the water bottle first and it came up as $5.99 and then the BR rang up as $29.99 but then I saw $21.99. No problems.

Thanks, fellas. Off to TRU tonight, I guess.

===================

BTW, that amazon deal is still kickin' according to some in the Consolidated HD Bargain thread.

No luck finding "Transporter 3" at Price Chopper. Settled for a Redbox rental and will pick it up later used or after price reductions.

But my Price Chopper did have a whole display of bargain DVD's ($4.99 each), and about 1/4 of the display was HD-DVD's for $6.99 each. Good deal for anyone who has an HDD player (some are also combo discs, so they'd work for SD players, too).
