As an owner of a HD-DVD addon I guess I will have to start paying attention to the Blu-ray section now. Since I don't want the PS3 I think its going to be a while until I see an inexpensive full profile Blu-ray player so I'm holding off on buying the disks. And I'm a little leery on buying SD because I want it in High Def. Oh, well.

Thanks, as always, guys. This week, it's the COPS set (yeah, yeah, I know), Michael Clayton BD and American Gangster. I'm probably going to pass on the HD DVD of that in favor of the three-disc set since the extended cut isn't in HD.

I'm not Mike, but here you go:

I asked that very question (at least about Les Miz) IN THIS THREAD and have heard a resounding thud as an answer. :frowning: I resurrected a thread from 9-2003 (when we were hoping for a SuperBit release!).

Hey, Scott...is there something "wrong" with the COPS set? It looks like it should be fun. I was wondering how much material is actually on it.

I assume you're referring to my "yeah, yeah, I know" comment. I just added that because COPS isn't usually highly regarded in terms of TV shows, but it's a guilty pleasure. It seems like a good set. The main feature is the one-hour 20th-anniversary special FOX aired a few months ago. It also includes the pilot (with commentary), a "Las Vegas Heat" episode (with commentary), and one segment from each of the 20 years it's been on the air. Plus, it has spoofs of the show from TV shows, and some featurettes. A lot of content for the money.

This review really sold me on the set.
