The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.
I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain!
If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you
want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!
Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).
The Specials
--Phew! Take a week off for the holidays and look at the week that's waiting for you upon your return!

--Best Buy has EXCLUSIVE PACKAGING with its copies of the Blu-ray 3-D Combo Pack of Frankenweenie.
--And, BB has an EXCLUSIVE Blu-ray Combo Pack release of Stolen.
--Best Buy is also advertising the following releases:
ParaNorman: DVD/$14.99, Blu Combo Pack/$19.99, Blu 3-D Combo Pack/$29.99.
FDR: American Badass: DVD/$9.99
--Best Buy Odds and Ends: None to report.
--At Target this week SAVE $5 INSTANTLY when you buy BOTH Hit and Run AND Guns, Girls and Gambling.
--And, Target has EXCLUSIVE BONUS CONTENT with their copies of Smash: Season 1. Includes over 20 minutes of bonus content and "Touch Me" music video.
--Target has the following Blu-ray titles on sale this week for $19.99: Total Recall, The Amazing Spider-Man, Men in Black 3. More in store.

I decided to go ahead with Driving Miss Daisie (knowing that it will be ridiculously lower soon enough). I also have Grand Hotel (a family favorite) and Samsara (blind buy) pre-ordered--all from Amazon. I will move ahead on Mrs. Miniver eventually...when that price probably drops along with many of the others. No rush for me on that one.

Just Babylon Five Season Four this week...oh wait...wrong year...heck...wrong decade...
Nothing for me. I'm completely tapped out for a good long while, along with having a few other money priorities. (I'm starting to work on Christmas 2013 right now. Bought my first official present last weekend and stocked up on material for projects last night.) I'll "make due" with what should be coming from Netflix this week: Save Me, Battlefield Earth and Role/Play.

You got that right! I had to wait a year for Willy Wonka and All the President's Men. I still wouldn't have Meet Me in St. Louis if a great friend hadn't given it to me for my birthday.
I'm slated to review several other items coming out this week, but don't have any in hand at the moment, so we'll just have to take a wait and see attitude with them.
Thanks for the listings, Mike.

Just Driving Miss Daisy for me this week, since I've never owned it in any form and I haven't seen it since damned near its original release.

DMD and Dredd for sure. Will look around for Samsara to see if I can find a good deal on it.

Tony - The review you linked is over 2 years old, and the DVD of My Dog Tulip has been available since August 2011... is there a new release planned?
Tomorrow's release of "My Dog Tulip" refers to the long-delayed Blu-ray edition.

Thanks to Alan who reminded me that I forgot to include this was for the bluray. I have begun to forget that movies are still released on DVD. Also in spite of the age of the review it still is the same movie. Unfortunately no one sems to be selling it. Even amazon doesn't have it up for sale.

Maybe they'll come down sooner in the UK (via Amazon UK) as they sometimes do... Or maybe Costco... One other thing. Don't forget Best Buy has their $5-off trade-up deal coming next week... _Man_
