Tavis R. Thanks for the best buy trading info. Do they have some common dvds that they wont take? Do you think best buy would give a problem using the coupons on any movie bluray. The post has a list of ellgible bluray for the coupon, do they overlook that list and give you $5 off any bluray movie? Thanks.

As long as it's a non-porn regularly manufactured DVD, it's accepted for the trade-in. And in my experience, the coupon isn't limited to just the titles listed on BB's site.

The coupons are supposed to be able to be used on any Blu-ray priced $9.99 and up (excluding music blu-ray titles).

I hope to have Dead Poets Society up tomorrow night.

Stopped into BB today and brought five movies in for Upgrade and Save (Nightmare on Elm Street 1-3, Deep Blue Sea, Flash Gordon). Customer Service couldn't be nicer. After getting through the line, I was done with the transaction in 90 seconds.

Out of the deal, I picked up Dead Poet's Society, Catwoman, Cinderella Man, Stand By Me and Matrix 2/3. I asked if the $5 off was good on non-sale BD's and none of the cashiers knew. They thought it was good on all movies, but I wasn't going to tempt fate today.

I took five DVDs in yesterday and had the same quick, friendly experience. Used four of the coupons on BLUs I knew I wanted right off the bat, and I'll be going back for more, with a few more DVDs in hand, tomorrow or Monday.

Stated right on the coupon any movie $9.99 and up. Louie season one is also a $9.99 before coupon.

You may have to negotiate that one a bit. The Louie (DVD+BD) set in the DVD case is 9.99 but the coupon doesn't scan automatically The Louie (BD+DVD) in Bluray case will accept the coupon, but is 24.99. Some folks have gotten the managers to allow the coupon since essentially they're the same thing, but from reports it certainly isn't a slam dunk
