Was 300 SPARTANS originally a multi-channel theatrical release?

Given the era, I would imagine it would have been released 4-track Magnetic stereo. Anyone know?

By the time 300 Spartans was released, Fox was in financial trouble with the cost of sending Liz Taylor down the Nile in style and had been cutting back releasing Scope films with magnetic tracks. Indeed, mag prints were harder to come by from the late 50's onwards and were held back for their bigger releases. I saw the film in its original release in a Fox Theatre in London and years later at the National Film Theatre which would always get mag prints if possible. Both were optical prints and the NFT'S print was also missing the last reel.
I wonder what happened? Did they survive?

300 spartans was a MONO film, not a multitrack scope movie.
