AWESOME. I'm all over V for Vendetta. Although that moment of Natalie Portman in her little school dress shown in HD will be the image version of Dolby TrueHD. ;)

Excalibur and V For Vendetta on Halloween, along with the Mission: Impossible set? Best. Halloween. Ever. :D

WHV is making it extremely, extremely difficult for me to sit out this format war. Batman Begins in HD was bad enough. Now, V for Vendetta in HD?!

Must be patient....

V for Vendetta, finally! Looking forward to picking this up.

I think I'd like to get Excalibur was well, but it may go on the Christmas list.

Maybe on V For Vendetta. I didn't love the filmmaking but enjoyed the ideas presented. I have read the comic.

Excalibur I have never seen. Maybe this is the time.

Under Siege . . . nah.

Excalibur is not a great film, but it had beautiful photography. I can not wait to see it in HD.

I know what you mean. I've been trying hard to resist the growing temptation, but with releases like Batman Begins, MI:3, V For Vendetta, Superman Returns and Miami Vice my resolve is weakening fast.

Worst case scenario is you have an EXCELLENT HD-DVD player that does an outstanding job upscaling sd-dvds.

And you'll enjoy SO many great HD titles in the meantime. Tonight we popped in The Bourne Supremacy on my brother's Sony XBR HD monitor. Wow. This is a fairly gritty and dark film. Looked wonderful. The sense of depth and detail are intoxicating.

Go for it guys. You know you want to :D

Brent,

V for Vendetta in HD will be wonderful but, for me, the real deal is Superman Returns, only because it was shot in HD. I'm really, really curious to see how it comes out in HD. The same also applies to Mann's great Miami Vice.

I saw it digitally projected 5 times and it was outstanding. I want to see how it'll come out in HD.

Still, Batman Begins, V, Superman Returns, and Mission III? All before the year is out?! The studios are making it very, very hard for me to look at the DVD shelves at Best Buy now....

Also, I forgot to mention one of my all-time favorite movies, Casino, was just announced for release in December. I watched it when it aired on Universal HD and it looked awesome so I'm sure the HD-DVD will be 10x better. :emoji_thumbsup:
