Wow! This list contains 15 films starring Ronald Colman, perhaps the most under-represented of the major golden age stars on DVD. Only two of the Colman films on the list have been previously released (e.g. Arrowsmith and the Winning of Barbara Worth). Included are 3 films for which he was nominated for an academy award. Especially notable films on the list are "The Devil to Pay" opposite Loretta Young, which imo is one of his best and most representative films, "The Masquerader" in which he plays a double role, similar to what he did a few years later in the "The Prisoner of Zenda", and two of his smash hits from the early sound era, "Bulldog Drummond" and "Raffles".
Colman's first 8 eight first sound films are on the list, along with 7 of his later silent films. However, as to some of the silent films listed I wonder if some of the listed films still exist. I thought some of his famous films from the late silent period such as The Rescue (based on the Joseph Conrad book) were lost films. If anyone has further information on that issue please post it.
