Ouch - the DVD was quite good - for a DVD and the Blu-ray is quite bad - for a Blu-ray.
Looks very similar to the Olive VistaVision releases from the caps, Paramount probably needs to revisit this one, too.

I received the disc now and it is another example of a large format film looking at best average on Blu-ray, really disappointing.
On the plus side there is no unnecessary digital tempering like noise reduction and/or boosted colors in a futile effort to make this Blu-ray look better. In that regard I prefer it to Funny Face, but obviously this is faint praise.
