That is one of the more bizarre things I have seen in quite awhile. I have always considered this guy a fruitcake and now feel this is undeniable.

Intentionally or not, the entire website is a hilarious parody of the cult of celebrity.

However if his insane theory that indie-movie makers are worth $50k/night actually works, more power to him. I am somewhat miffed that he's allowed to call Buffalo 66 and The Brown Bunny "classics". To me a classic should be somewhat good, and seen by more than 12 people theatrically.

it was obvious to me it was a joke as well, until i looked at the rest of the clothes and shit he's selling on that website. i dont know, i just figure the guy is trying to cash in on whatever 'celebrity' he has, there must be someone willing to pay for that crap. $3k for a hopalong cassidy bedspread, $750 for a glove from a motorcycle race he was in, $50+ for t shirts, $15k for a motorcycle suit from the brown bunny. and $50k for one night with him, and $1 million for his sperm.

i'm not saying that i know this to be real or fake, but niether one would surprise me at all. the whole website reeks of narcissism.
