Verify iTunes code? (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to verify an iTunes code is still valid without redeeming it? When I try to go to the redeem portion of iTunes, it prompts me to sign in. I thought that I had done this before and it would let me try to claim it without being signed in to see if it was valid or not.
