I thought I'd start this thread for those who love to collect the "Hollywood Gold" series on DVD. Originally launched by Visual Entertainment Group but since taken over by Shock Entertainment.

These discs are all scheduled for the end July:

Looks like a few of the July releases may have been pulled from the schedule at the last minute. Shock's retail partner website ScreenPop is no longer carrying pre-orders for "The Honey Pot", "The Young Sinner" and "Secret of Santa Vittoria".

Coming on 2nd of April... This is merely a re-package of the previously-released "Midnight Lace", "Caprice", "Move Over, Darling" and "Do Not Disturb".

Could be in honour of Doris's 90th birthday -- if that's the case, expect plenty more box sets, especially from Warners.

Another re-release package set for April 2nd. This one includes the Marlene Dietrich films "Angel", "Desire", "The Devil is a Woman" and "Pittsburgh".

Are those transfers of Inherit The Wind and Judgment At Nuremberg 16x9 anamorphic? The U.S. DVDs are 4x3 letterbox.

I tried to find out online whether or not the Australia release of GIGOT is anamorphic. Has anyone a clue?

I just heard back from EZY that GIGOT is not anamorphic widescreen, if anyone is interested.
