VCR hookup to HT (1 Viewer)

I have a Yamaha home theater system with a Oppo blu-ray player and HD cable box which all are connected using HDMI. I want to add a VCR to the system,. How would i connect it and how many cable will i need?

I thought we already covered this in the other thread.

Your AVR included in your system(whatever system it is...and you still don't mention here, I just remember from telling you before) doesn't have HDMI upconversion.

You have two choices(possibly only one)...

Choice 1.
Hook the VCR to the TV, then the audio from the TV into the Yamaha.(which is what I already told you)

Choice 2.(depends if this will work on your TV)
Hook the composite yellow to the TV, the red/white into the Yamaha. This may not work if your TV won't accept video without audio over composite. Rare, but it happens.
