My Most-Coveted Fox Titles Begging for DVD Release:

Samuel Fuller: Pickup on South Street (1953)
Russ Meyer: Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970)
Roman Polanski: Knife in the Water (1962)
Preston Sturges: Unfaithfully Yours (1948)
Luchino Visconti: The Leopard (1963)
Wim Wenders: Paris, Texas (1984)

Any chance of an impending release of any of these? (I have only heard rumors about Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.) Thanks.

P.C.U. - Great college movie with Jeremy Piven, along the same lines as Animal House.

In the Fox chat (early 2001), it was reported that PCU would be coming out around June of that year. So, it hasn't been quite 2 years but it has been awhile since we've heard anything about it. I'd really appreciate any sort of information about this title. It looks like there's several more people here that would appreciate it as well.

SIX PACK (1982) starring Kenny Rogers and Diane Lane

GHOST IN THE MACHINE (1993) starring Karen Allen

PCU (PLEASE!) starring Jeremy Piven

STRANGE DAYS starring Ralph Fiennes (5 Star Special Edition)

VITAL SIGNS (like ER) starring Diane Lane and Jimmy Smits

People like Jacob and I have been crusading tirelessly for Cronenberg's The Fly: Special Edition for *YEARS*.

One was apparently in the works awhile back, but was abandoned in favor of the Fly/Fly II double feature (which had slightly more extras in every region *EXCEPT* Region 1...).

We're all beginning to feel terribly defeated, I think.

Maybe someday, right? As long as there's life, there's hope.

Alan,

(1) Your first post is hardly a week old (not "several weeks")
(2) We're not entitled to an answer, so please wait patiently
(3) We frown on "bumping" one's post. Please refrain from it in the future.

Alan,

Your first post of this thread was dated April 11th. Your post of the 19th - only 8 days later - is considered a "bump" (of this thread) because it serves no purpose except bringing the thread to the top of the page again, thereby moving all other threads one place lower.

I know you're relatively new here, hence my ample explanations.

Alan,

No I haven't seen it anywhere.

If you're interested in TV Shows coming to DVD (and especially, if you're willing to "vote" for them), here's a great site for you. It's devoted to TV Shows getting to (or been wanted to) DVD.
I registered myself there too.
