OK, Does such an animal exist? I have a time compressed DVD that I want to slow down to the appropriate speed. Is there a DVD player that can do this? Thanks for the answer from any of the techies.

I've seen some new models that do the time compression, but not the reverse.

I used to work in a electronics store, and I have never heard of such a machine.

Never used it, but there is software than can do this, but it obviously requires using a HTPC. I think the first manufacturer to do this with a DVD player would have a hit on their hands because of PAL speedup that a lot of people would like to slow down.

I only know of WinDVD software on a PC. It has many play speed options including an option called PAL TruSpeed!?
