I am pretty sure PSYCHO IV is a TV movie and if it is, I think it needs to be released on DVD, Then all the psycho movies will be on DVD.

Makes you realize how crappy the networks have become since turning out these many fine t.v. movies, doesn't it? Now they do nothing but appeal to the lowest common denominator and leave all quality filmmaking to cable channels.

[/i]Psycho IV[/i] was made for Showtime Television. It's not hard to tell it's a TV movie. The lighting and general cheesiness of the production pretty much give that away. It's by far the weakest film in the series, but I would buy a DVD because I'm a completist. God Bless Anthony Perkins, the man always gave his best.

That's part of the reason why I picked up Netforce and Joan of Arc. Both of them are great and I hope I helped to get the studios going on this to put more of them out. I think I have about 50 of them that I'd like to see.

Yes, I can remember when TV movies were an event, and they were done well, not like the headline-of-the-month exploitation fare done now.
I would like to stress that if and when these films are released, that they are done cleanly and by their proper licensees. After all, there are dozens of DVDs of THE BOY IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE with John Travolta, but they are all not licensed from proper producers Spelling/Goldberg, and they're quite dismal-looking.
